Create QR codes from text, URLs, or any data. QR codes can be scanned by smartphones to quickly access information. Perfect for sharing links, contact information, Wi-Fi credentials, and more.
Type or paste the data you want to encode. This can be:
Adjust the QR code appearance with options like size, color, and error correction level.
The QR code generates automatically as you type. The preview updates in real-time.
Download the QR code as a PNG image. Use it in print materials, websites, presentations, or anywhere needed.
URLs, text, vCards, Wi-Fi, and more.
Generate QR codes at various resolutions.
Change foreground and background colors.
Choose error correction level for reliability.
See changes in real-time as you type.
Very long text creates complex QR codes that are harder to scan.
Custom colors may reduce scannability - ensure high contrast.
Some QR code readers do not support all data types (like vCard).
Always test the generated QR code before distributing.
A: A QR code can hold up to about 3KB of data - roughly 4,296 alphanumeric characters. However, simpler QR codes with less data are easier to scan. Keep content concise for best results.
A: Error correction allows QR codes to be read even if partially damaged. L (7%), M (15%), Q (25%), H (30%) indicate how much of the code can be damaged while still being readable. Higher levels create larger codes.
A: Common issues include: low contrast colors, too small size, complex data creating dense patterns, damaged print, or insufficient quiet zone (white margin). Try increasing size and using black on white.
A: The QR code itself does not track scans. To track, encode a URL with analytics parameters or use a URL shortener with analytics. The destination website can then track visits.
